FAQs

How often should I have my septic tank pumped?

- Every 3 to 5 years. You may get away with waiting longer but you risk backing up into your home and damaging your tank and field lines if solid waste from your tank contaminates them. Regular pumping is cheap compared to a tank or drain field replacement.

I hear gurgling in my drains or they're not draining properly.  What do I do?

- Reduce your water usage to prevent raw sewage backing up into your home. Call us and we'll figure out if your lines are clogged or your tank is full or if your drain field is malfunctioning.

I smell sewage inside or outside my home. (You may also notice a wet spot in your yard.) Do I need to call you?

  1. - Yes! Smelling or seeing raw sewage is an emergency situation and is a serious health risk to you, your family and your neighbors The good news is it's usually easy to fix.
